The legendary World Hockey Association came into existence in a maelstrom of hype, ridicule and outrage when it took on the NHL as a rival pro league in 1972. For seven rollercoaster season the upstart league barnstormed through cities all over North America bringing with it a cast of characters straight out of Slapshot. And now for the first time ever on any format VSC has put together an authorized retrospective that we hope will capture the essence of the WHA. We’ve put together the only four complete WHA sanctioned games in existence in any quality plus some incredible highlights and brand new interviews with Bobby Hull and Wayne Gretzky.
