Fans loudly cheered the childlike exuberance of Waltrip's victory celebration. As he was being interviewed by CBS pit reporter Mike Joy, Waltrip shouted 'I won the Daytona 500! I won the Daytona 500!' Shortly after, an exuberant Waltrip performed an 'Icky Shuffle' dance in victory lane.
